Evaluation areas:
Early literacy skills, phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, reading accuracy, reading rate, reading fluency, overall reading accuracy, spelling abilities, and reading comprehension are some of the common areas of evaluation.
To rule out the potential of a language impairment that may be related to reading difficulties, oral and written language abilities should be tested.
